Citizenship by
Investment

For the 8 years from 2014 to 2022 the Grenada Citizenship by Investment programme
welcomed 6,479 new citizens. An average of 810 citizens per year. In the 3 years,
2023 to 2025, the programme added 10,237 new Citizens to Grenada – an average
annual increase of 532% over the combined annual increase of the previous 8 years.

In addition to its stunning geographic beauty and a passport that allows visa-free
or visa-on-arrival to more than 144 destinations including China, Hong Kong,
Europe’s Schengen Area, the UK and Singapore, Grenada is the only Caribbean
program with an active E-2 Investor Visa with the U.S. Other compelling factors
include:

  • Citizenship for the entire family: inclusion of eligible dependants within a single application
  • Citizenship can be passed down to future generations and acquired by
    future spouses by marriage
  • Dual citizenship permitted: Grenada has no restrictions on its citizens having dual citizenship
  • Timely processing: citizenship typically within 3 to 6 months
  • Flexible investment options
  • Tax advantages: no income tax on global income, no capital gains tax, no inheritance tax

Key Benefits

Global Mobility

Global Mobility
Grenadian citizens enjoy broad international mobility, including visa-free or visa-on-arrival travel to 144 destinations, with access to Europe’s Schengen Area, the United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore—supporting seamless global travel for business, education, and family life.

Timely Processing

Family Citizenship
Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment programme allows eligible dependants to be included under a single application, providing families with shared citizenship, continuity, and long-term planning certainty. Grenada also permits dual citizenship, with no requirement to renounce existing nationality.

Investment Potential

Business Flexibility Beyond the Caribbean
Grenada is the only Caribbean Citizenship by Investment programme whose citizens are eligible to apply for the U.S. E-2 Investor Visa, offering qualified applicants a possible pathway to live and operate a business in the United States, subject to U.S. immigration and regulatory requirements. In addition, Grenada is a Full Member State of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS)
